 Have you ever asked yourself, 'Who really am I?'  Am I a father, a husband, a friend, an engineer, a traveler or a patient?  The truth is that you are a father on the basis of a son.  You are husband by virtue of wife.  You are traveling in a train so you are a passenger.  All your identities, whatever you believe, are all based on others.  Then who are you yourself?  A father, a husband or a traveller?

 By not knowing the answer to the question 'Who am I?', you keep on creating a new identity of yourself, as a result you keep moving away from your true self.  All the sorrows in life are due to not knowing your true identity.  Until you experience your true self, you consider yourself by the name that has been given to you.

 so who are you?  In reality, you are an eternal soul.  For infinite births the soul was under the veil of ignorance.  Because of this, we have been unable to experience ourselves.  By the grace of the Gnani Purush, one can now experience his true form through a scientific experiment called Gyan Vidhi.  After this, you will not only have an understanding of the pure soul, but also experience true happiness.
